Blackjack was first formulated in 2010 as a replacement for the coarse, old fashioned and overpriced powders that came on the market back in the 1970's, when the standered paint on cars was acrylic lacquer or enamel. At that time the paint set up was much less critical and the top coats of paint were applied over 320 grit sand scratches.
